What are the system requirements for being able to use iGuideline?

To use iGuideline your Mac must be running Mac OS X 10.10 (Yosemite) or higher, and must have 64-bit Intel processor.

How can I purchase a license for iGuideline, and how much does it cost?

iGuideline is available through the Mac App Store as a free download. Just start the Mac App Store Application that is on every Mac and search for iGuideline or child support.

Users who need to do a lot of calculations (Lawyers, etc.) can make an In-App Purchase for a 3 month, 6 month, or 1 year subscription, and there is the further option designed for Parents who can make an In-App Purchase of a single calculation for the incredibly low price of $19.99.

All payments are processed by Apple Inc. using Apple’s secure Mac App Store backend which in imbedded in the iGuideline Store Window.

How much do updates cost?

Nothing. All updates are free. This includes annual updates for the current year’s tax and benefit amounts, as well as updates providing new and enhanced features.

Does a license for iGuideline allow me to use it on more then one computer?

Yes. Apps purchase through Apple’s Mac App Store are tied to the Apple ID of the person who purchased the license. You can install iGuideline on any capable Mac that is set up to use the same Apple ID.

Is there an iPad and iPhone version of the App?

Not presently, but the file structure has been designed to allow us to create an iPad version.

What version of the Child Support Tables does iGuideline 2019.x.x use?

iGuideline uses the current Child Support Tables that came into force on November 22, 2017, and will be updated when new Tables are announced. iGuideline’s Table Lookup feature also allows users to look up Table Amounts for all the historical Tables (i.e. 1997, 2006, and 2011)

Can I set the default values for new files I create?

Yes. iGuideline has a Preferences Window where numerous settings can be changed that allow users to customize iGuideline to streamline their workflow. These preferences are available through iGuideline->Preferences menu item.
